Cereal Wednesday XIII

So today is Wednesday.  As I have been doing for quite a few Wednesdays… I present to you this week’s edition of Cereal Wednesday

So yeah, I ran over again.  By quite a bit to be honest.  So let me fill you in on the offer:

The offer was for a Shrek Inflatable Boogie Board.  Now, this is a mail away offer, but it is actually a cool mail away offer.  On every box of certain Kellogs cereals are Shrek Tokens, in promotion for Shrek the Third that is coming out later this year.  What is cool about the offer is that it actually gives you options.  So to get a Shrek Inflatable Boogie Board you can do one of two things:

1) Mail in one token a $3.99 and receive the Shrek Inflatable Boogie Board
2) Mail in five tokens and receive the Shrek Inflatable Boogie Board

So basically, all you have to do is really buy only ONE box of cereal and then pay for postage and handling as opposed to most other offers that make you buy 4 or 5 boxes of cereal.  I think the fact they give you an option is pretty awesome.

You may also have noticed that I’ve started numbering the Cereal Wednesdays.  I’ve decided to number them with Roman Numerals, and was surprised to find that I was actually up to XIII (13 for those of you who may not be familiar with Roman Numerals) on the list.  I’ve eaten a lot of cereal… and its all for you.  I live to serve.

On a final note… my t-shirt offer deadline is tonight.  There have been some people who have expressed interest but I think either a) are afraid I’m a “cereal killer” b) are afraid to have their picture taken or c) only wear button down shirts.  So… allow me to address each concern publicly.  On (c) people generally wear t-shirts underneath button down shirts (b) Body shots only are fine by me… but if that still concerns you… we can always work something out… especially if you have a pet and (a) Mr. Fab doesn’t think I would be a “cereal killer”, so why should you?  You can always pick a different address to have it delivered too… like a boyfriends or an aunts or something.  Now there’s no pressure… I just want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to get one of these oh so rare edition shirts.

C’mon.  You know you want it…

The Nick after all liked hers… and she’s a fashion snob.

One Week Later

… And I still feel all blog sexy.  You’re probably sick of hearing about it by now.  Okay… I’ll try to move on.

So I’ve been spending a little more time over at YouTube.  I have a few reasons for it… mainly because I am doing a little research on a topic which I want to post about later on and I want to show as true an example as I can.  Some of you may be more familiar than others with some of my previous research works such as the True Identity of Princess Pottymouth and the Rent-My-Blog Analysis.  This is along those lines and also ties into the post I planned regarding reverse engineering.  If everything goes as planned… you’ll see both those posts next week.

Which actually brings me to another point.  Planned posts or gut reactions?  I know there are some people out there who sit and methodically plan their posts.  I will admit there are times when I do that myself.  Others simply sit at the keyboard and type out whatever comes to mind.  I will also admit there are times when I do that myself as well.  Looking over the archives, I think I tend to sit and blog about whatever comes to mind about 75-80% of the time as opposed to planning out the post.

It seems to me that Vlogging (blogging with video) seems to require more thought and preparation which may be why most Vloggers (at least the ones I see) only post at most three or four times a week.  In fact… I think it requires quite a bit more if your going to avoid jagged cuts… which also seems to be all the rage and a very acceptable practice in Vlogging.  It’s sort of like the Blogger’s spell check.  Personally… it drives me nuts.  Maybe its my background, but to constantly do rough cuts in each and every video is like your hiding something… and what’s worse is that your hiding it badly.  Which is one reason why I prefer the videos I do to be as fluid as possible.  If I do a cut then I try to do it for a reason and totally change the view so that its obvious there was a cut.  I don’t want to hide anything or have anyone think I’m hiding something.  I have private posts for that… cheese

Yet, this post could have totally been about something different… like it could have been about how awesome and sexy my template is!  I could have written 10000 words on why it is so awesome, and unless I push the publish button you wouldn’t be the wiser.  So how honest is it really?

Well… honestly… my template does rawk… smiley

Cereal Wednesday
Today we will start a new theme. The theme comes from a suggestion made to me last week on this Ooogle Monday post from none other than Miss Ann Thrope. Of course… I figured it needed its own little twist… kinda how Ooogle Monday has both men and women, how FOAD Thursday includes Peace and Love, and how Smorgashboard Sunday has a picture that usually has NOTHING to do with the post.

So this is Cereal Wednesday

BTW… it may take a minute to load… and it’s 8 minutes long…

.:*:.

I also need to take this opportunity to announce unformally that the most anticipated blog of the year has opened its URL. That’s right… Mr. CFP: Stupid Human Tricks is live and kicking. However, I warn you that it takes a special person to partake in this blog… considering his first post has no less than 5 penis pictures, it also probably isn’t as work safe as you might think.
