TequilaCon 2009
… and it was good.
In fact it was way better than that other conference can ever claim to be.
So the night before the Official TequilaCon 2009 Event, we had the first ever BeerHer Event at the Santa Fe Brewing Company. Similar to last year’s First Supper, this was the first chance we had to congregate en masse. The participants this year included Poppy, Whall, Ren, Sarah, Geeky, Rachel, Robin, Karl, Marty, and his lovely wife.
One of the reasons for travelling to this venue was for their Chicken Killer Barley Wine. As I recounted the tale on last night’s recap episode of Lick. Slam. Suck., they don’t actually serve their own brew there. You have to basically buy it across the parking lot at the actual brewery and consume it at your own risk. Kinda crazy, no? They still had quite a nice selection of beers, and I did have the Brewmaster Burger with Green Chili Cheese Fries…
And everyone seemed to have a good time eating, drinking, chatting, and dancing…

I’ve been slain by The Black Dragon…
Even though I’ve been slain… just know that TequilaCon ‘09 was a HUGE win in my book.
Once I get enough Powerade/Gatorade in my systems so the blood actually courses through the veins instead of trickling I will be going much more in depth.
In the meantime, Poppy has pictures from BeerHer and TequilaCon ‘09 already up.
Because she’s awesome like that.
