So do you mean “pee in the shower” like as in George Costanza “pee” or “pee in the shower” like as in Kevin Spacey / American Beauty “pee”?

Cuz that would be a secret better kept more post secret.

That sounds like a great time.

And people pee in the shower?  Regularly?  Hm.

That’s awesome you won the unbound galley.  The only word I thought of while reading was fanfuckingtastic.  That may not be what you’re going for tho in the awesomecoolness word search :D
I know of quite a few people who do not pee in the shower, as well as of those who do.  Doesn’t surprise me either way.

Glad you had a great time at the lecture/signing

Oh man, awesome stories like this make me so envious that I don’t (and probably never will) live in New York.

Am I the only one that doesn’t know what a galley is?

I love Post Secret, wish I were closer to ANYWHERE he’ll be.

That is AWESOME!  I wanna go.  :(

And for the record, I do NOT pee in the shower.  Eww.

"Become who you are”—yet you gave me crap when I thought about giving up being “Monique.” Le sigh. I’m hoping my brother gets me this book for my birthday; if not I’ll be buying it for myself!

Whall- Yes.  It might be better… so maybe I should stop sending in postcards.

Avi- Well, at least the shower is still in the bathroom.  It’s not like ejaculating a dolphin in a pool or anything.

Soda- The unbound galley is really cool!  Of course… afterwards I realized I should have had him sign it… but I wasn’t that swift.

Miss Britt- As if you once thought you lived in Florida… lol.  Your day in the Apple will come I’m sure.

Sarcastica- Sure… I’ll give you the address… but it may get returned if you don’t know the secret postage!

Sxymom- It’s a great book… and thick too!

Lynda- I know, men are barbaric!

Tug- A galley is the book only with both pages on one printed sheet and in a pile.  It’s very industry standard for reviews and such while the book is being printed and bound.  It’s really cool because this one is in color… and the pages are VERY frameable.

KG- I know YOU don’t pee in the shower… but I got money on someone in your household who does… LOL

Monique- But you ARE Monique!  Hear you roar!  Yeah… your brother better come through… its worth it… totally.

I used to pee in the shower but now they’ve installed a machine they call “A Toilet” just next to the shower. You press a button and the pee goes down a tunnel, to be replaced by fresh water for Buddy to drink.

I missed him last time (it was a joint thing with Found Magazine, two blocks from my house). Shame.

And congratulations. That sounds like a great collector’s item.

OK, kind of what I thought - that’s AWESOME!

Your description of the reading sounds a lot like the one I went to in Mountain View, California. At the time I hadn’t heard of Frank Warren or PostSecret. I just went because I was walking by and it looked interesting. (Most author readings have much smaller crowds.) I enjoyed it a lot. He didn’t raffel off anything, but much of the rest sounds familiar. Since then I’ve become a regular visitor to postsecret. Lately I’ve been wondering if there is anything in my life that would be worth mailing in.

I actually had my copy of this book on my bed when I stumbled across *this* post (which I also didn’t read after my October trip, booo) while looking for something else to do with the awards.  Oh, the irony.  And I’m very confused… You sent in a secret that isn’t in the book?  Do we know what your secret is yet?
