Ah moving ... a surefire way to end up totally ticked off at your SO for no good reason.

Someday, when I can write about our moving adventure from CA to PA without sobbing uncontrollably, I will have to relive the gory details on my blog.

The moving adventure was so bad that even though it was 7 years ago, I still shudder visibly whenever I have flashbacks about it.

And now it is 210 days to our next interstate move and I’m thinking of asking our vet to not only give our cat some tranquilizers but to slip a few extra in for me.

You should not have had to pay anything extra & they should have reimbursed you for the extra gas.  I would complain.  Well, actually, I would get my husband to do it because I have a hard time being mean.

Ahhh good ol Holyoke you gotta love it there.  I hope you waved to the left as you were going north on 91 to say hi to me.  Ya know the mountains over there.  Ya thats where I be.

BTW I am also moving but doing it all on my own.  Well with the help of someones truck and one of my friends.

I bet it feels damn nice to have it done and over with.

We used to have a local drop point, but it just disappeared in the middle of the night - seriously.  one day there was a uhaul trucks and trailers, and the next - ALL GONE.  weird.

Hope they do something to make it right.

You don’t like babysitting?

Hmm, learn something new every day.

Fingers crossed the couch makes it around the turns…

Mattie- It was quite interesting and definitely had its moments… but it’s all a learning experience.  Lesson #1- Taco Bell makes everything better.

Shelli- Complaining to the guys at the station is no good… I need to complain to corporate.

Frankie- Moving is definitely and American Adventure… and to be honest ALOT of the towns sounded really familiar… I just didn’t remember which was what and which way was who.

Fantastagirl- I know the whole U-Haul franchise thing is in flux because of a number of issues they had a few years back with shoddy service on the vehicles… but I didn’t realize it was THAT dynamic.

Poppy- Eh.  I think we spoke about this… how it was an Adventures In Babysitting reference because then at least I would get to meet Thor.  Yeah… couch… right…

Sourpuss- Go.  Right.  Now.  Seriously.  Delish.

Goteeman- I’ve been through the state before and never had it this bad.

Whall- Well… at least the MOUND had a scenic view.

any time we have a crappy service complaint we have one girl at work call to bitch.  her favorite phrase is “how will i be compensated?” damned if it doesn’t work!
