Now you made me hungry for cake. It’s 7:08 am.
Did you know that if you wanted to skip the oil and make a healthy cake all you have to do is buy some applesauce. You know the type that come in individual containers for one? Then if you want, you can put in one individual container of applesauce instead of the oil.
I make it that way because hubby has congestive heart failure and it’s better for him healthwise. He actually likes it a lot better.
Plus, I buy the reduced sugar frosting (I think Pilsbury has it) or even better, I buy the Cool Whip Free. He loves that too.
Just a thought.
I think I’m going to have to bake today. Thanks a lot Dawg, it wasn’t on my list of things to do but now it is!

I am great at cooking but I SUCK at baking… then again… you make it seem so easy… Maybe I should give it a try again… and just do what you do .. so well..
