I couldn’t agree more!  I haven’t watched the show, but saw this clip, saw these JS people on a couple shows...the guy that punched her is still on, right?  THAT.  Is wrong.

Don’t think I could ever really watch the show, but this little bit seriously gets me.  big.time.

I sat down last weekend to quickly check out five minutes of this show and see what all the fuss was about and um, watched the whole two hour premiere.  I have been watching it since.  Last night, my guy came over to hang out and we put the show on as background noise but after one episode he told me to Tivo it every week so he could come see it...and he’s not that into tv at all.

There is something addicting about this show.  I have no idea what.  Maybe the fact that I get to say “douchebag” a fuckton is one of the reasons I love it so!

Can’t get the clip to work, but it’s probably just as well. I don’t want to get sucked into that intelligence vacuum. smile

I don’t know.  They waited two weeks after they originally showed the clip to censor themselves. Everyone has seen it already or they CAN see it someplace if they really want.  So is it a big deal?  Meh.

They are really working the media on this one, and we are all buying into it.

I HATE MTV.
But I haven’t seen the show, yet, and want to, because I’ve read so much about it (and already seen the clip). Interested to see that link once the girl is in bed.
Oh - and I got my Christmas card! Thank you - you guys made Z happy by addressing her. smile

(Oh and I am LAME and for the 2nd year ever, haven’t sent out any cards. I suck!)

@Tug, the guy who punched Nicole/Snooki/Snickers isn’t a cast member of the show, he was free loading free drinks from the cast. He’s a guy from Queens who was a gym teacher before he got fired for his actions on the show. Now he monitors the school’s “rubber room”.

That sounds ominous, and that’s all I know about that part.

@Finn, I think that’s just a screen capture of the part of the video where the guy clocks her. You’re better off not seeing the whole thing. It feels wrong to laugh at a girl for getting punched.

And now for my comment: I think MTV put the viral video out there and then went all priss so they looked like the good guy who didn’t show the video while everyone else did. I do not approve.

And just to fight with myself: Then why did they show the punch in the preview of the week before?

Gooooood question.
