Ripley looks beautiful, but in photographs she looks pretty horrible at the moment… :D
Thank you for my new designation, although I don’t deserve it.
ONE DOLLA!
I’ll just have to take your word (and Adam’s word) for it on the GI Joe flick. Gonna pass.
I grew up with the GI Joe action figures...the big ones...but I never read the comics or watched the cartoon. So I have no idea who anyone is. I thnk I’m gonna keep it that way.
I never watched any of the GI Joe stuff, so I had no idea who anyone was, but it was still a lot of fun. Stupid as hell and horribly written, but fun nonetheless.
Mew told me that Snake Eyes was mute for a different reason - something to do with saving Scarlett?
Thank goodness for news. I was beginning to feel like a stalker.
I’ve gone to see Monster Trucks every year for the past five or so. They never get old ... or any quieter.
I was past my GI Joe years by the time any storyline developed around the characters. They were just cool 11” (I think) action figures (not dolls) when I was a kid. The movie looks like it might be a pretty good time. (If you’re curious about G-Force ... it was pretty good. Nice 3D.)
Poppy- She is bootiful… but I think she’s still holding a grudge against me.
Miss Britt- It’s actually pretty mind numbing drool inducing stuff.
B.E. Earl- I can understand why… but even as just a good action flick, I think it passes. If not the theater, I’d add it to the NetFlix Que when you can.
Avitable- I think for what it was based on, being a comic book at a time when comics weren’t that great, the writing was pretty decent. They crammed alot of the storyline in, including the death of the Hard Master by Storm Shadow. The original reason why Snake Eyes is a mute was because of a helicopter crash, where he carried Scarlett out of but took the full blast onto himself to shield her and became horribly burned and lost the ability to speak… hence why he originally wore the mask and was a mute. I can forgive that oversight b/c they did pack alot in, but the whole Scarlett and Ripcord thing? Whateva.
Bobbird3131- Lol… yeah, the side stuff has been more of a time suck than I originally anticipated… but I expect it to be worth it.
Delmer- I loved the trucks… and I did greatly enjoy the movie. My mom saw G-Force, because I guess that’s do when you collect Social Security now, and she said that while it was cute she thought it could have been funnier.
Of course, this is the same woman who told me that Up was just a little sad at the beginning… therefore G-Force is probably a riot and one I will regret not seeing on the big screen if I don’t catch it.
She can be such a sadistic bitch.

I’ve never been into the whole G.I. Joe thing before. But the movie looks like it has some decent action. I’m hoping to see it sometime this weekend.
Yay! I am so glad you posted! Missed your posts, obviously.
You do have TGGITW! We already knew that, duh.
You are doing what’s important in life, and I think that, if anything, is the best reason to ignore your blog.
But don’t ignore your Poppy!
Gravedigger has always been my personal fave!
Mr. Twinkie took the boys to see GI Joe. They’ve never seen the cartoon, read the comics or played with a GI JOE so their opinion is completely raw and they loved it. New fans.
wow that IS the GGITW!!! And umm… I just got myself a new kitty cat… and was actually contemplating asking you to be her groomer but now I am not so sure…
