I like the dress. Except for the middle part with the lacy effect. It would be a better design if the pleated bodice just continued down to the poofy skirt part. But hey, what do I know?
Wedding would be a lot more fun if the brides (and bridesmaids!) wore dresses like this:
I have a good design eye. I don’t like it on her. There are a ton of dresses I’ve seen that would look much better on her. I’m sure there’s someone out there the dress would look good on… but not her. She deserves to look much better than what that dress can provide.
I don’t know. I like it. It’s simple and understated. I don’t know if I ever heard of Princess Peach before today.
I plan on wearing a dress, um, kilt on my wedding day. I’ll run the design by you first.
Excuse me, I just woke up after the zillionth tweet you sent today, not fully processing what I read yet.
Does STEFF like it? Does LOLLIBEANER like it? Does STEFF’S MOM like it? If so, you’re outvoted.
Well, she’s sitting down, which is an extremely unflattering pose to judge what any outfit really looks like!
I suspect when she’s standing, there’s way less poof, and I think it’s a perfectly nice dress.
I just don’t care for that much beading. On myself. On her, it’s fine.
Mattie- I’d rather the lacey/beaded part.
Bucky- I’m going to make this as a recommendation. Thanks for the advice!
Miss Britt- Coming from a pro-Nintendo household… you would.
Avitable- Another Nintendo fanboy… and it TOTALLY looks like Peach‘s dress before 64bits!
B- Really? I would have though you’d have hated it… too poofy and all that.
Winter- Praise Jeebus! Finally someone else who sees this catastrophe waiting to happen!!!
Poppy- First, whether she likes it or not isn’t the issue… of course she liked it… but as her best man friend with the greatest taste in fashion advised her… she is reminiscent of a video game plumbers pork piece.
BTW, Wednesday night I have to go gown shopping.
B.E. Earl- Yes, avoid a fashion faux paus and do that, thanks.
Annie- Mmmm… no, same amount of poof. That dress was made that way I think. I like the poof… but not the smoothness of the poof. Lacey/beaded poof would be totally fine!

...
Okay. I can see it. A little. I mean, no poofy shoulders and the like, but the curve of the skirt is right.
*wanders off whistling the Mario Bros. theme song*
Hehehe! Hopefully with you there it’s the Dawg and Steff speedy shopping hour 15 minutes AND you get a dress that YOU are happy with. Because Steff wearing a dress YOU’RE happy with (who the fuck cares about DONKEY, right?) is all that matters. (*giggle* *GIGGLE*)
Simon- Exactly!
Poppy- EXACTLY!

dude i wish i knew you when my best friend got married. her dress WAS HORRIBLE it’s was white with pink underlay and looked like cinderella and was just HORRIBLE. she realizes how bad it is when she looks and the pictures and yells at everyone for letting her wear it.
you are a great friend for speaking your mind, but the dress looks quite pretty to me.
What a beautiful dress this is...she is looking cute with in it man. This poes making her more attractive credit card processing.
These kinds of dresses are always much expensive but looks well especially for the cermonies. she is a unique beauty.
Thanks for the great blog — keep up the good work!
If my birde looks anything like that I will be so stoked !
