It really was different this year and I have had a hard time putting my finger on it.  I know that I wasn’t drunk and that I was more quiet than usual.  I loved the party but still, something was off.

You can make buckets of money with the pizza sales!  It was really great meeting you.  I really enjoyed spending time with you and Poppy and I hope to be able to do it again sometime soon!

I know what you mean when you say something was different or off. Sometimes it’s not something we can explain or point out but it’s just something you feel.

I knew things would be different this year, compared to last year, well before I arrived in Florida so it made it a little easier to swallow that jagged little pill.

A great time was still had but yes, something was very different.

As usual, I was oblivious to any drama. It has to be really in-my-face for me to notice, I guess.

As this was my first time attending, I can’t measure any difference. Wayne did point out that from the pictures he saw he thought a lot of people didn’t go as extreme with their costumes as last year. I quickly showed him shots of what I thought were some fairly heavy duty costumes from this year and then the conversation turned.

Awww I’m sorry something was off.  I didn’t notice anything, had a great time but one thing: those weren’t my morals I was pushing on anyone...those were boobs!

It was different.  I think by separating the smokers so much, the party seemed to become two parties, so that’s something I’ll have to rectify for next year.  If there’s a next year, muhahahahaha…

Oh, and we’re definitely changing the way that food is put out.  Two rounds of food - one in the beginning and one around 11 or midnight.!

I have no idea what drama you’re referring to, but things felt very different this year. I felt a disconnect I wasn’t counting on, but I connected with people I didn’t expect to connect so well with.

And I felt really depressed when I got home because our high school weekend was over.

Wow. That Dave2 is so hot right now! And that’s not an easy task with Poppy hotness standing right next to him!

I am so sorry I missed this year - wait - that’s it - *I* wasn’t there!!! No wonder it was *off*!
Anyway, it did seem like something was off or whatever, just from the pictures to me. Either way, I’d have gladly skipped one of my stupid high school reunion things to be there.

I think, for me, the party was off because of the approach to physical space.  The smoking tent was waaaay too far.
