I’d say that the last year has been miserable, but the decade? I’ve done a lot of fun things, even with some of the hard things that have happened.

I’m choosing to remember the good things with happiness, accept the bad things with grace, and move forward thinking that anything is possible and good things await.

Thanks to you and The Poppy for being two very good things. 

For me, all of the bad things that happened this past decade have been more than offset by meeting Gia.  My own BGITW, if you will.

I think i’d argue that ther have been plenty of decades globally that have been worse than this - the world wars for example.

Here’s hoping that the next decade’s good things outweigh the bad for all of us.

For me, 2009 was a mixed bag of good and bad.  Traveling to places I had never been before was good.  Bad for me was lots of struggles within myself.

As for the decade as a whole, it wasn’t bad, but it had it’s share of bad.  So you are spot on with your post (I lost my mom this decade).
