It amazes me when people do that.  They hype up one team and claim the other will choke.  And when the opposite happens, they clam up and have nothing more to say.  One of the MANY reasons I try not to talk crap about baseball.  I have my favorite team and I just continue cheering and hoping that they do well in any given season and/or off-season.

I’m definitely not perfect though and I’m CERTAIN I’ve talked crap about the Boston Red Sux at some point in time.  Just sayin’

Go Sox. :D *duck*

It just goes to show you that a lot of the time, you don’t really know until the playoffs start who is going to be there.  Or not.  There were years when the Twins were the worst at the beginning of the season and then ended up winning the World Series.  The opposite is true, too.  They were expected to be wonderful and sucked it up big time.

Who saw a Phillies win? They won the NL East by accident!
I am surrounded by idiots who all of a sudden love them! Da bums.

I am not a Mets fan.

I am a fan Of Anyone Playing The Yankees.

Don’t care how good they are, or how much they choke.... hate, hate, HAAAAATE the yankees.

(but then, I AM a sports fan)

Soda- Hell, EVERYBODY talks shit about the Red Sux… even themselves.

Poppy- big surprise Desecration!!!

Shellie- This is very true… which is why nothing is a guarantee… especially in friggin’ May.

Metalmom- Yeah… to be honest… it was shocking, but at the same time… they did deliver when it counted.

Britt- Why such putrid hatred of the Yankees?  Is it because all those masks were an unflattering image of you when your picture got snapped with Alex Rodriguez… or was that another hawt blonde from Ohio???

I just have to point out that the Yankees have won 26 World Championships and 39 American League Championships.  How many have the Sox won?  The Yankees have been in the post season for the past 13 consecutive years.  How many have the Sox been in?

LOL, Poppy...in one or two games, yeah they are the come back kid.  But if we want to compare “come from behind and win” stats, I don’t think it would look good for the Sox.

OK I HAVE to stop.  I normally do NOT talk shit about baseball.

I talk about baseball in general terms and I talk about how much I love the Yankees.  I don’t, however, normally talk shit about the other teams.  I’ve noticed the more shit I talk or the more I brag, the more I curse them LOL

However, I should be OK since I was just stating facts/statistics here today LOL

Soda- I agree… it’s not like the broadcasters don’t quote stats all the time… so we should be okay… but of course… if they lose to the Injuns… I blame you!!!

Poppy- So what if it’s paid for???  Britt pays for hers too @ times.  Besides, it’s not necessarily the natural color of the curtains… but the personality beneath it plays a big part of that as well.

P.S.- What do you mean “That trouble was on purpose.”???

a) I am a natural fucking blonde, thank you very much.

Well I do have a disposition for redheads… and you WERE looking for drama… and I did inadvertently cause it… so in the end you did get what you wanted.

Now if I wanted to intentionally cause it… well… then I would just talk about how I am SO dressing up like Jim Halpert this Halloween.

Wait… let me get my popcorn… smiley

I just used you as an example that even natural hair colors use bottles on occasion… and considering you ARE a NATURAL blonde… too which I have an aversion too… the fact I smiley you as much as I do is further evidence it is the woman who makes the hair… and not the hair the woman.

Of course, you never really NEED a reason to tease a Mets fan… I mean c’mon… your METS FANS.

I didn’t know people were still playing baseball.  The only time I notice the sport is when it makes all my tv shows late because of a homegame they insist on showing on my channel of choice.  I’m not much better with any sport, though.  I only have a football team out of spite- my in-laws are avid 49ers fans, and being from New England, I side with the Patriots.  Just to be annoying.

I’m also not a sports fan.  Interestingly enough, last time I was in New York for work, the Subway Series was going on.  It was like I was in a battle zone.

Oh yeah, then it became a battle zone.  So to speak.
