We have no gas TV and I feel cheated as a result.

You only paid $57? What gas station do you go to? smile We have Gas Station TV at my gas station too....all they try to do is sell more gas and the services of ambulance chasers and pay day loans. Sad, eh?

Oh My… you better never come to Dutchyland. Weekdays everything mostly closes at 6.p.m., except on Thursdayevening when it closes at 9 p.m. On Saturday most shops close at 5 p.m. or at the latest (some supermarkets) at 7 p.m. and on Sunday everything is closed!!!

Yeah, feel sorry for me!!!

Worse - we have gas radio.  But it’s special “don’t you love BP” radio.

Trust me, it’s worse.

I sat without leaving to pee through ALL THE ENDINGS this time around!!!  smiley

I hope you can stay awake long enough to help me get from the gas station to 495 so we can go the CT/MA/VT way to Break Boy and HLW’s.

We’ve had those up here for a while now (almost 2 years, I think) and all they show is stupid advertising.

If you watch Jay Leno, he occasionally has a segment called Pumpcast News where they plant a guy to do the Gas TV and he talks to unsuspecting patrons. It’s quite funny.

Here’s a link to a sample on YouTube.

I just saw my first tv at the pump the other day and I thought it was stupid. It’s not like I’m there for more than 5 minutes, geez.

I knew one of the guys who originally had this idea. To me it’s insane if they DON"T put Cereal Wednesday on there.

Adam needs to come to Southern California where 2 out of 3 gas stations has a video display. Usually, it’s the local news that’s on. Sometimes it’s just canned commercials for buying candy and energy drinks in the quickie mart part of the gas station.

We don’t have TVs on the pumps ... but the bathroom is always clean.

Just think of us poor souls with no Dunks.  THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MINUTE.  Yeah.  Pretty grim.

BUT...we do have GasTV.  Ours show clips from the previous newscast and weather.  Also advertisements for shows and crap.  But they’re quiet and you can’t hear anything so there really is NO POINT.

I need to get on their corporate sponsorship list and see if they can syndicate my DITLs.
