Okay, you totally played me with the p.526. I am owned. Go you.
I’m thankful that I haven’t succumbed to the HP addiction… yet! I will eventually. I can feel it. If NYCWD loves HP, then I probably will too. I think that I’ll just buy the entire set at once. OK, they won’t be first printings, but I’ll get the story. ;0)
Congrats on being able to get out of the blue line at Borders! WTF? Only 4 cashiers? Stupid.
I thought I was going to have to pummel you with my feminine little hands! But then, true to form, you were a gentleman and revealed nothing. Whew!
We were there at 9am this morning at the grocery store to get my 16 year old his copy. He is a very happy boy at the moment.
I just worked the HP cluster fuck down here at my store. We were pretty darned organized for a small store and we did about 300 people in 2 hours (just myself and another girl as we only have 2 registers). But I also had to work this morning and my boss severly shorted us and it was a huge problem. I’ve been up for 36 hours and I’m about gone mentally.
We bought ours no problem… walked in, picked it up off the shelf, and then waited in for 20 minutes in line. Never go to the bookstore - always go to the local big box type store…
Supermarket
Street Deal :D
Brilliant.
This is how it looked in London at the same time:

Similar chaos… and a supermarket right next door, too - which nobody had thought of. But then for all the people in the line, it was all about the big event, right? Until you’ve been waiting so long that only your skull is left…
OMG! I am so glad I am not such a big fan that I had to be there at midnight! LOL
I still haven’t got my book.
I loved the page 526 bit.
We picked up a copy at Wegman’s
No line, no waiting ... we needed milk and brea anyways so it was all good!
