Oh please don’t worry about it. You are entitled to some You-time and slacking off as a blogger and blog reader. You are a great one the rest of the time!!!

4,000+ unread feeds???

I would just give up at that point.

Oh...and Roombas are really great at torturing your animals.  They hate it.

My sister went to esparks on Mothers day - by FIT and she said the coffee was awful.  I couldn’t even walk in because I hate the smell of coffee.  Glad you liked it.

Girl, Dislocated

Damn.  I missed a radio show that would let me call in and scream, “Men suck!” shut eye

It’s National EMS Week?  Well, hooray for you, I guess, but I’m calling 911 when I get a chance this week for my back pain. It’s been hurting for the last 42 years, and I’ve just decided I need it checked at the ER NOW.  This ain’t no stubbed toe, so don’t expect me to suffer an extra couple days with my 4 decade-old back pain just so you can enjoy your bagels and juice, k?  angry

LOL

Adam did enough of the ‘men suck’ for a legion of men.

And boy do you have my 400 + beatwink

That’s a nice weekend.  I need to get away from a computer for a full weekend one of these months.

I am really proud of my (honorary?) member status at The Hills.  That was one of my favoritest days of all time.

And, you’re getting your Roomba, silly, but you need to forget you want one or else you’re going to end up with 5—one from Mom, one from Pudding, one from me, and two from bloggers who send you inappropriate gifts. smiley

The ESPARKS Americanos are the best on the planet.  But the service is weird, and so was the guy yelling through the glass at his ... um, woman.

I promise not to call 911 this week so that I don’t interrupt your food consumption.  BTW, the mini bagels at The Hills were fan-fucking-tastic!  I almost stole a whole bag of them, but that other kid got in a shitload of trouble for stealing that other thing and I didn’t want to end up like him.

And… you two have NO CLUE what you’re doing at Home Depot.  It’s a good thing you brought me along. :p

I HATE listening to BTR downloads.  I mean, I like listening, but I HATE not being able to call in so people can hear me screaming about whatever it is they’re talking about.

Britt, the solution is: Make a response video.  Record yourself on camera listening to the show.  (They pay me to be this smart.)

I’d never be able to keep up with 4K… You are committed, pal!

I want a Roooooomba too.  Espeically with the kids and the damn dog.

4,000? You’ll need a bigger cup of coffee. Do they make a ginourmous? Which would be gigantesco in Italian. Which is cool because it sounds like giant testicle.

What were we talking about?

comment by Finn  on  05/20  at  11:42 AM

4000? You might want to read Karl’s blog first ... or maybe it was in his tweets ... but he had a solution for this situation. Just click “mark all read” and start over.

comment by delmer  on  05/20  at  12:39 PM

Exactly what Delmer said. I read all the feeds in my “Folks I Know” folder and then marked everything else as read. Just couldn’t catch up with nearly 3,000 posts.

comment by Karl  on  05/20  at  02:35 PM

I’m actually with the “mark as read” brigade also.  But shhhh, a little secret....even when I do that, I always go back and read the blogs of the people I’ve met in person.  It just feels wrong to ignore them because I am the supreme dork (read:codependent).

And we could have used some “Vaginas rule!”.

Dutchbitch- Well… I’m definitely a slacker… but I’m okay with that… it’s others who may not be.

B.E. Earl- Well some of them are the gossip blogs like Perez and a few other rags like The New York Times and The Washington Post… so I just click those away.  Rags I tell you…

Libragirl- I never noticed the one by FIT… in fact until they opened locally… I didn’t even know they existed.  It’s a nice place though.

Girl, Dislocated- Oh no problem!  Back pain!  Yes, that requires a C-Collar and a backboard… oh… and good luck getting that x-ray… my computer wasn’t working so I didn’t know that the machine was down at the hospital you ended up at.  Really.  Honest mistake.  Enjoy the chiropractor.

Turnbaby- Only 400?  Geesh… I wish I was you…

Mr. Fabulous- I agree.  I think he does too… considering all he did was whine about how they should have hired him as the manager.  Pussy.

Cissa Fireheart- Yeah… well… life happens… otherwise what would we blog about?

Avi(table)- I think you may be worse off.  You may need to detach the iPhone from your palm surgically as well for all the benefits.

Poppy- Next time ask, I would have had the Terrorist just give you the bagels.  Really.  They’re just $1.35.

Miss Britt- Yeah… well… when you can’t listen live… it’s the next best thing… and a great alternative to Monday morning crap on the regular radio.

Poppy- Uh… wouldn’t a blog post just be easier?  A video that length… wow… would need to be broken up into 14 parts to fit on Y-Tube.

P.S.
I miss U 2

Catscratch Diva- I am so down for a Roomba!  I don’t understand why ANYONE would not want one!!!  It’s an adult toy… not practical in the least.  I assure you.

Finn- You have just given new meaning to the term “tea-bagging” with your giant testicle insinuation.

Delmer- Yeah… that’s the easy way out.  If I subscribe… it’s a commitment.  Of course, if the people I subscribed to would be less committed about posting… life would be easier.

Karl- Mmmm… nah… still can’t bring myself to do it.  Tempted, yes.  Still, can’t do it.

Hilly- The few times I have hit the Mark All Read, then I spent a week going back and trying to figure out what I missed.  THAT was a pain in the ass.  Really.

BTW

Vagina’s Rule!!!

I can ask tell him myself, and if he says no THEN I’ll ask you to talk to him.  smiley smiley

I find it easier to make response video posts than write down words because then I don’t edit myself.  She could extract the audio and just upload the audio without the video portion!

Then ask, silly.

So… she should make a podcast over a podcast.  Kinda like Britt Theatre 3000… only in audio… and without cool robots.

Hey Britt, want a Roomba?

Did you listen to me with Fab on your podcast?

whall

Yeah I have my ‘round 1’ blogs, ‘round 2’ etc so if I only have 5 mins, I do one round.  As I find more time, I increase to the next round.  It helps me pay daily attention to the blogs I care about most.

And I can’t sit listening to btr at the computer, so podcasting is it for me.  I’ve called in a couple of times, cuz it’s nice to stick a headset in my ear as I do stuff around the house… But that’s the closest I can come.
