I myself am not a talker. I do find it easier to blog or ask blogging friends for advice. I don’t think I would want my mom reading my blog. I think the fact that you have come back is a huge step in itself!
That stinks that your card playing didn’t have the effect it usually does… Maybe next time.
Keep doing what works for you in your mourning, but I strongly think that listening to people that know you is good too.
I’m so jealous of you going to Atlantic City! I love it there, tackiness and all
As for grieving, there is no right or wrong way. You just do the best you can.
I’ve never been to Atlantic City. I wouldn’t go for the gambling either, but maybe the food and entertainment. I love to people watch and think it would be an awesome place for me to do that.
You are dealing with your mourning and grief in a way that is comfortable for you. Doesn’t matter what the rest of us think or say. As long as you’re dealing with it (and I believe you are).
*hugs*

Try and remember your mom loves you. And for those of us who are “fixers” it is so hard to watch someone in an unfixable situation. Offering unwanted advice is our own way of coping.
*ahem* Obviously.
I cringe whenever one of my parents asks me to help them get on the Internet. I don’t have the time to help you while you hunt and peck at the keys!
Perhaps you just need to get back out into the game as far as poker goes. Maybe since you haven’t played in awhile your playing ways have changed?
LOVE the poker!
I’m not a tell person, tho’...I think it’s a female thing.
I’m all about intuition when it comes to playing. I make calls that would probably piss Phil Helmuth off ("NO ONE CALLS WITH THAT!!") but, it’s always because I know I should.
Hard to explain.
I need to start watching people for tells, tho’.
People can’t read me, tho’. I love it.
