You said a prayer?  Awwww!!

And… I had forgotten I got snippy with you about not being able to hear me.  Sorry about that.  Bad Poppy.

WHEN I TALK IT’S REALLY LOUD IN MY HEAD BUT NOT LOUD IN THE WORLD.  No idea why.

I hope you have forgiven me.  If not then tell me what I can do to make up for it and I will.  smiley smiley

Poppy talks too quietly.  She’s always on mute.

This explains why everyone thinks I’m just a crazy lady talking to myself.

Seriously, when I talk in my normal voice it almost hurts my ears.

I’m sensitive.

I bet if you say hiiiiii he’ll forgive you wink

Don’t tempt me to return.  I had the worst time leaving yesterday.  If I didn’t have kitties to go home to I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have gone back.

Iron Man was a practically flawless hero flick; its makers drop some pretty obvious sequel hints too… i’m thinking the next one should be equally great

Stop having so much fun. You’re making the rest of us schmucks look bad. That is all.

Strange. When I went to Independence Hall years ago, there were no reservations required. You could just wander in and take a look around. I thought it was a totally boring building (and much smaller than I expected) so people aren’t missing much.

we also got the “sorry, independence is closed” speech.  fuckers.  although we cheated and simply looked at the liberty through the window (i mean, if we are blowing off independence then why not tell liberty to fuck off as well?) fortunately we were able to spend a bunch of time in the cemetery at chirst church.  terrific place.

we did the horse drawn carriage thing which, even though i hate making the horses work, was fucking cool.

but damn, i wanted to see that movie!  i’ll get there…

I wish I had read this before I went to see Ironman- I had to pee when it ended but could have waited a few more minutes for the bonus scene - damnit - luckily - I will probably go see it again for free next time -

It was awesome

I feel so much better now that I know I didn’t miss out on much by not getting into Independence Hall. We went next door to Philosopher’s Hall which contained exactly one pith helmet, a painting of an eagle, and four compasses.

It was great to meet you this weekend! Now I need to scour your archives for that Christmas Crunch episode of Cereal Wednesdays. That was still cracking me up the next day. smile

Poppy- Of course I have forgiven you!!!  It isn’t even your fault… it’s my ears… smiley

Avi- Oh she’s not mute… I assure you of that.

Turnbaby- *GIGGLE FIT*

Patrick- Not too sure about a sequel… although it is already set up for that… but I would look for a bigger flick first.

Phil- Sorry.  I’ll be back to being a stick in the mud very soon, promise.

Dave2- I think part of it is a large amount of school trips going on.  I saw quite a few school groups when I was there.  I liked the murals they had in the building… but otherwise it really is a bunch of chairs, and the tour in general is sucky.

Hellohahanarf- The movie was awesome.  I highly recommend it… with a package of Twizzlers and hot nacho cheese for the best snack.

Rachel- Must. Watch. Ending.  Too much is riding on that bit to miss it.

Jenny- Well you still saw more of the inside of the Hall than I did!  It was great meeting you too!!!  And thanks for organizing such a great time!!!  You can find that episode here.  I don’t think I ever posted it on this blog.

“I didn’t even know Tibet existed.  Did you know it existed?” What. The. Hell?!

You made me snort several times.  Stop that.  It’s un-ladylike.  I guess it doesn’t really matter since I am sitting here alone in the living room and no one can hear me snort.  So, I guess go ahead, be funny.

Shelli- Yeah… that whole “No Child Left Behind” thingy is working out real well… really.  Snort away… but I bet an 8-ball of coke would make the snorting more interesting.

Poppy- Hiiiiiiiiiiiii time it is!  smiley
