I’m going to get a tattoo of a barbie with a tattoo on Sunday.

I think any Mom with any kind of tattoo, even a tramp stamp, wouldn’t mind the tattoo culture involved in their children’s toys.

We tattoo folks are very loyal.  And I only have one.

Mattel sued Bratz because the creator of Bratz worked for Mattel when he came up with the idea for whore dolls. So Bratz had to stop making/selling them. So now, Barbie is gonna have to step it up and whore it up a little. The tattoo is just the first step.

I plan to go to TequilaCon this year, and I’m really nervous about it. It kind of puts me out of my comfort zone, and I am really an intraverted (and extremely shy) person.

But hey, sometimes you gotta step out of that comfort zone.

I’m probably definitely coming to TequilaCon this year (*and* the She-Ra Blogging Conference, methinks), and I can’t wait to meet you guys! All I know is, when I think about going, I get happy, and when I think about not going, I get sad. I will lock down my plans just as soon as the billing cycle on my AMEX turns over…

Yay! I’m excited that I get to see you both again. maybe this time I’ll yanno remember my camera.

I’m going to TC09 and I’m pumped that a lot of important blog friends will be there and I’ll finally be able to meet them.

I’d definitely pay to see MJ.  I’m a big fan.  Can’t wait for his next album.

I’m not sure what the “uproar” was - I can see boycotting and raising awareness for something seen as inappropriate, but I don’t know if it went past that.  It’s one thing to protest (which I can support) but it’s another to try to interfere with legal action or something like that. 

But I don’t know if I care enough to research it.

RE: Barbie - when do you suppose the parents are gonna start parenting, if you don’t want your daughter to play with that toy - they you don’t buy it.  See how that works? 

Question - if I let my daughter have removable tattoos (she’s six...) am I a bad mom?
