I never took the ad down on my blog, Laurianne’s Hope. It brought some traffic for me. But I agree with you. I didn’t want PPP stuff on my personal blog.

Hehehe.  I thought BCA was dead to us.  I already did my voting for both of you waaaaaay back when.  (Although I voted for Fab by mistake when I meant to vote for Avi for the millionth time.  Oops, did I say that out loud?  That part about stuffing the ballot box?  Heh.)

Yeah, I gave up after I looked at the blog “beating me” in the design category.  If you look at the ~cough~ votes, you can totally see that it is the person who owns the blog making a bunch of email accounts and only voting for him/herself in the one category.  I still hover at the top I found out the other day when someone came to my blog from there and entered my Stickam chat. 

They can go straight to hell for all I care.  (And I had thoughts on having a secondary blog for PPP, but I just can’t give two shits about it even though I am poor as a church mouse while being unemployed.)

I started a second blog to do PPP stuff and it was rejected for being too “new” I sat around for a few weeks, thinking I could cheat and pre-date some of the posts and make it appear 90 days older, and then resubmit. 

I gave in and signed up The Soda Stand for PPP.  Sell out?  Possibly.  However, I’ve already been doing some sponsored posts there for a different pay you to blog place and I tend to mix it up with my personal stuff.  That’s why I put that disclosure page up.  Hopefully I’ll be able to do the same thing with PPP.

Worst thing that can happen is I end up not liking it and I resign from being a Postie.  No harm no foul.

I figure if someone wants to make extra money, whether on their personal blog or a different blog, who am I to judge?  I think it’s a personal choice we all make and I’m OK with that.

You are such a dirty, dirty whore. Seriously - my respect is hard won, and now I feel dirty for respecting the both of you. I FEEL DIRTY.

I agree, the only thing I can say is I’m not going to stop posting my personal posts.  It will be all mixed up with everything.  If I see a trend where I’m going more business than personal, I’ll stop doing it on the Stand.  I think there are ways to work each sponsored posts into something personal.  And I tend to find that way so I don’t lose all of my readers (read: lose you as a reader)

My friend, if you ever want to make a change from loving me in a “non-homosexual way” to at least a “bi-curious” way, I’m your huckleberry.

I am not sure how I feel about payperposts...since I’m broke, it sounds like a really good idea. I can get paid for rambling on about nothing, heh.

But if I ever did join Satan and the dark side and took up payperpost, I would most certainly do it on a different blog and keep my other 2 ones as they are. Then I would have 3 blogs...and that proves that I really have no social life.

But don’t talk to me about your relationship with your father on one post, about your family trip to Greece on the next, and about the new cell phone gadget on the following post. Well, yikes. I have PayPerPost entries on my personal blog, but I think I know what’s given us all a bad name, and that’s the blogs that have nothing but paid posts from 99 different companies, and nothing personal whatsoever. So annoying. Mine is still personal, and way more than the required 50% non-paid posts, and still has plenty of talk about vaginas
