It really started innocently enough.  The opportunity for me to do something that, otherwise, I would probably never be able to do.  Then the voting began in earnest.  I threw out a motivational image, I launched a campaign, I showed off my Ginsu knife, and finally I let the animal out.

I knew that eventually some people would throw drama chum into the water because they were sick of seeing it or because the bloggers they had nominated or voted for weren’t in the top 12 as the contest panned out.  Still through it all, I am grateful to those of you who have stuck by me and cheered me on.  Without your help and support I would not be writing this post, nor would I be reporting to you that I will indeed be in the Hot Blogger 2009 Calendar. 

Yes, that’s right.  I will be joining the esteemed hawtness of fellow bloggers like Shawn Powers, Ghost of Keywork, Busy Dad, Backpacking Dad, and Adam Avitable.  On one hand I feel like I’m in a Wayne’s World episode where crying, “I’m not worthy!” will result in a *Doo-Doo-Doo-Doo* dream moment where I will wake up screaming, but on the other hand I think I just one the People’s Choice Award for Hawtest Brain Cortex.

So thank you one and all for making this happen.  As things progress, be assured I will keep you up to date.
