This is a conversation I had with one of my “kids” yesterday:

Empty Minded Twit (EMT)- I need tomorrow off.

Dawg- Tomorrow’s Friday, what spectacular reason are you giving me?

EMT- I have to go to a funeral
*HANDS ME A NOTE FROM A FUNERAL HOME STATING THERE IS A FUNERAL TOMORROW NIGHT FOR “EMT”*

Dawg- Well according to this, you’re going to your own funeral.

EMT- Yeah, so I need tomorrow off.

Dawg- Can’t do it.  I got too many people off tomorrow.

EMT- Oh.  Well, if I come in then I’ll be late to the funeral.

Dawg- Don’t worry, being late for your own funeral is fashionable.

EMT- Oh.  Okay.

Really… I can’t make this crap up.
