Last night as I sat here at my desk eating chocolate cake minus the Pepto-Bismol, I was thinking of one of the many different things I could write about today:
- • I could whine about the pain in my legs
• About whoever told Britt it was a good idea to walk across the Brooklyn Bridge must smoke Brooklyn Brand Crack
• How much Sharon loves her last name that she shares with her husband Barry after 30+ years… and how awesome I think that is
• I could recount the wonderful spaghetti and meatballs Poppy made the other night
• About the family “vacation” we took one year on the Staten Island Ferry… literally
In my deep thought process, I was perusing Flickr and thought about favorites. I know the type of photographs that are my favorite to look at, and the type of photographs that are my favorite to take. I also know the type of photograph that is important for me to get or to have, as opposed to it necessarily being a favorite. There is actually a difference… because while I find a favorite to be aesthetically pleasing, an important one may not be as pleasing but is something I feel I must have.
I know I mentioned it to someone this weekend… I just can’t remember who it might have been. So, I pose to you the question, what type of photograph is your favorite and which is the most important for you?
