How thankful could I possibly be this year?  It may actually surprise you…

• Ω I am thankful for the 6 years, 4 months, and 7 days that DJ was here.  He gave me a purpose to wake up in the morning.  He inspired me to be a better person.  He gave me a new appreciation for The Cartoon Network.  He was my reason to continue… when I could find no other.
• Ω I am thankful for Pudding.  Truth be told, without her I never would have experienced him.
• Ω I am thankful for the Wolves who were loving brothers and especially his sister Blinky… who he loved with all his heart and then some… and she inspires me to be a better person.
• Ω I am thankful for my family who continue to stand by me through the darkness… even when the decisions I have made have haunted me.
• Ω I am thankful for my friends… both online and in real life… who have continually offered their support and counsel when the light at the end of the tunnel turns into an Amtrak train barreling down on me… and for giving me a purpose to get up in the morning.
• Ω I am thankful for my ability to communicate and express myself here unhindered… because otherwise I might have to resort to medications which is something I would be MOST unthankful for.
• Ω I am thankful for Double Stuff Oreos that have become my comfort food here as they were in NOLA.
• Ω And I am thankful for a very understanding girl who sent me a text message tonight after a phone call, where I felt very useless because it started and ended with her crying, that said, “I know u have ur own issues and im sorry im calling u with my bullshit i love u so much and if u need anything my bullshit can wait while we tend to you”… because she has become my reason to continue if for no other purpose than to make her better.  That is after all what I do.  Make people better.
