So yes, the last few posts were written and timed over this past weekend due to what I knew was going to be a hectic week, particularly with the number of 9/11 related memorials I was scheduled to attend. This morning, while doing my 3:00am RSS feed cruise I found out that the blogosphere has also suffered two losses of it’s own.
First, Greg Beck from Death’s Door, The View From The Spanish Announcers Table has gone to the other side. I liked Greg’s no holds barred views while at the same time making light of the “heavy” situations… some of which included Uncle FEMA (who Greg worked for) and what was going on in his town of New Orleans. In my business there are two types of people… the “wheelers” who handle to driving and the “healers” who handle the… well… healing. Greg was definitely a healer.
Secondly, Amy Wilhoite from Living With Leukemia has also gone to the other side. Amy has been blogging about her fight with the disease since 2006. Fighting the Reaper is something I am unfortunately knowledgeable about… only I’ve never had to fight him for my own life which is something I really can’t fathom.
So take a moment… stop by… leave a comment, or not… but hear the voices of these wonderful bloggers… who’s voices will be heard when we read them.
Good journey friends… see you on the other side…
