I am happy to introduce you to Yin (the white one with some black splashes) and Yang (the black one with white mitten paws).

They are my mom’s newest kitten additions.  Ever since I fled the horrors of the basement and all its flooding, apparently they decided to fill the void I left behind with pussies.

Poppy took that picture with her phone.  Isn’t she an awesome cat photographer?  Plus, they of course adore her already and may well be ready to call her momma.  They’ll have to settle for auntie.  I don’t think they’ll mind.

Here’s another 5 quick bullet points that could have been developed into deep posts but instead ended up as a list because I seem too long on things to do and too short on time lately:

• Thursday night I probably won’t get home until midnight, and need to leave the house by 3:45am to catch our ride to the airport for the plane to take us to Neverwas
• My truck is going into the shop over the weekend… because once again she’s acting out.  I fear this may be her last winter as my ride
• I’m actually psyched for the plane ride… because I should be able to get SOME sleep
• I don’t think we can check into the hotel until 3:00pm… and with little sleep… I’ll be looking for low exertion things to do
• I still have no idea what to be for Saturday’s party… but Poppy is all set minus one accessory… and let me just say she’s gonna be smokin’ hawt.
• Most importantly… NO TOUCHING THE POPPY!!!

On a final quick note… because I am lazy and have no idea how things actually ended on… there was some discussion about a little unofficial get together Friday night near the hotel for everyone who was flying in early.  I think it ended with TGIFriday‘s being a good choice seeing as they had a decent menu and Social Lubrication (liquor).  So if you’re going to be in town for Neverwas the night before the fair and want to go hang with some fellow out of town bloggers on All Hallow’s Eve… leave a comment and we’ll see what we’re able to (loosely) organize.
