Have you heard about HBO‘s new series True Blood?  As part of their promotion of it, there is a blog called Blood Copy that is basically providing alot of the background story that is undoubtedly building up to the series premiere in September.

One of the things they have are a bunch of YouTube clips.  Personally, this one is my favorite.  Of course the premise of the show, which is coming from Alan Ball (Six Feet Under, American Beauty), is that through the synthesis of a blood substitute the underworld of vampires reveals themselves in The Great Revelation to human society and now face all the challenges and trials of every other minority.  The series is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlain Harris, and with the ninth book of the series in progress, there promises to be a lot of material to work from.

I’m looking forward to the September 7 premiere.
