Most calendars have Sunday as the start of the new week.  On the APODB calendar, it is the end of the week here.  That is why I present to you the best morsels of the past week in my blogosphere here at the Sunday Smorgashboard.  Enjoy the feast!

Not much has changed in the IT2M situation.  Although Merciless Minx did give permission to the readers to remove their pants and the situational advice of when it would be prudent to do so… a hint was given off by Heartless Lass in the comments of this post.  In similar news it appears that Frog My Blog has officially croaked.

This has been a historic week over at Blogography.  Dave’s been kickin’ it with lil Dave for 4 years now… and this entire week has been a celebration.  What REALLY got me excited besides the thousands of dollars of prizes he’s been giving away was that on his original post he announced that the Artificial Duck Store would be re-opening tomorrow!!!  Woo-hoo!!!  I can finally retire my Lollapalooza 1992 t-shirts which make up the vast majority of my summer wardrobe!

The Chad alerted me to the horror that is the cancellations of both Drive and Saved.  I really liked the first show… and since I felt the second show had basically stolen my life from me that means the networks don’t find me appealing.  Bastards.  Maybe I should scrap my proposal for the spin-off Not Saved Because Municipal Units Were On Lunch… maybe not.

Do you need to spice up your vacation plans?  After reading about his weekend getaway for his 1-year wedding anniversary I really think that Avitable has missed his calling.  Forget about whatever secret stuff he pays people to do for him… he needs to become a travel agent.  He also needs to hire Senor Horsecock to test out the facilities to make sure they meet his high standards.  He can be Avi’s own version of the “travelling gnome”.

Joe the Troll highlighted how the American University System is going to shit.  With the way we constantly walk on eggshells around topics and each other, especially in a place where controversial topics have a history of being brought to the floor, is it any surprise we will become a country of counseling oriented sniveling numbed out prescription drug addicts?  I think not.

Everyone knows I Denise… who by the way is going to school to become a nurse.  Well… she may have found exactly how to not only get an A in class, but to have an orgasm while doing it… or did she?  Powerful stuff there folks.  I needed stitches on my chin from when it hit the floor.

Tracy Lynn is entering the political arena.  She’s already got the mayor pegged.  It’s only a matter of time before she gets a phone call from Hillary.

Guess who found out they have a blog?  The Ice Princess herself KG discovered that yes indeed she has a blog to write about stuff with!  Of course… she is winning for Best Blog Design… so when your blog kicks ass like that… well who needs content, right?  It just needs to look good.

Is it earth-shattering news that I’ve played most role-playing games, collectible card games, and collectible miniature games out there?  It really shouldn’t… I am a devoted MechWarrior fan, have freelanced for Scrye, and really want to go to Gen-Con to see how badly they have fucked up Dragonlance with the new animated movie (if they don’t show hot clips of the elf Lauranna, I’m gonna borrow from another genre and do a RAMBO).  However… apparently one game slipped past my radar.  In this game you can actually get lost in The Cavernous Vagina of Misplacement +2.  While Joefish did some of the design on the game… it should come as no surprise that Miss Britt is deeply involved… and I mean DEEPLY.

The Internet Phenomenon Cereal Wednesday may not get me Best Videoblogger, but it does inspire other people to voice their opinions about cereal.  Check out Kaleb‘s video response regarding Froot Loops with 1/3 less sugar:
