Welcome to the first Sunday Smorgashboard of 2008! Today… while my house is divided between the NY Giants(my dad) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(my brother) with a six foot Italian hero(my future lunch, dinner, and breakfast)… I give you the best of the last week in my blogosphere to snack upon…
What better way to ring in the New Year than with Cooper Anderson? Well… besides obviously ringing it in with ME… Miss Soda and Miss Monique had the right idea. Starting the new year off with a lack of sleep is not the way for a good start.
Of course, 2007 counting down to his own demise is something alot of us looked forward too… because another year full of wild and wacky radio and sculpey posts has been promised by Mr. Fab. Oh, how he just knows how to make a new year look bright!
This year Franky is going to be a member of a famous rockband. Quick! Get the autograph now!!!
YouTuber Nalts has released a free e-book on How To Be Popular On YouTube. Do you have what it takes?
I think its pretty obvious from their New Years Resolution video that both Avi and Miss Britt have what it takes… taking resolutions to a whole new level. Any video that uses Jesus and anal beads in the same scene should be a surefire hit.
Rachel is starting the new year getting spooked out. As long as she has Bello, she should be okay… he’s looking quite viscious! (And adorable I have to add for full disclosure)
Tori has unearthed this year’s new social dilemna solution. In other words… Facebook is evil too.
Robin has an interesting story about a hypothetical couple who lock themselves out of their bedroom while testing a lock… forgetting to leave one person on the inside just in case they couldn’t get the door open. The new year also means its time for new locks. Home Depot
you.
Poppy may have very well found my future ex-wife for me. That golf game doesn’t look too hard… at least when I play it on my brother’s Wii is isn’t. I can do
herthis. Really.
And finally…
Dave has given me a reason to actually venture to Toys’R’Us again… Indiana Jones Legos!!! I think its great that the Lego company has bought the soul of George Lucas for pennies on the heartbeat. Now if only Kevin Smith was so cheap…
So that’s the past week/new year in my sphere. Have a great week!
As a reward for feeding me with my internal thirst for reading materials… I designed this simple button for those who may want to display their Snacked upon status proudly:
Additionally… because I am beyond benevolent and loving contrary to what some people believe… here is the code for you to use with a permalink directly to this post. So if your blog was snacked upon today, all you need to do is copy and past the code:
Smorgashboard Sunday is a weekly compilation of interesting posts, pictures, and videos that I have found within the 250+ feeds of personal or personal related blogs that I currently read. Due to the volume of blogs and the 10-12 posts I limit myself to comment on, there may be times when posts that you author do not appear. This is not to say that you did not have a good post, or an important post, or even a post I did not read because in all likelihood I did indeed read it. This simply means that for that week(s) that you are excluded… well… I thought other posts were better choices for the Snacking. This does not mean I don’t like you, I don’t love you, or that I don’t read you. It just means that for that week(s), I chose other posts but there is always the possibility of next week. Unless.
Unless you cry, whine, send me e-mail messages begging me to feature you, send e-cards with links to the posts you want linked, tell me how I don’t love you, tell me how I don’t like you, tell me how sad you are, tell me how I don’t read you even though you know I did because I commented that week, and/or try to muscle me with threats of large “goombas” paying a visit. If you do any of that… then hold your breathe until you see yourself on the Smorgashboard again. While your doing that… go get a white hat and get yourself some Smurfberry Pie ‘cause you’ll be blue before you see it.
