So welcome to another edition of the Sunday Smorgashboard!  I know… I’m a bit late… but it’s really kinda cold where I am… and the power isn’t all that stable… and it’s really kinda cold where I am… and I’m quite tired… and it’s really kinda cold where I am… and I have furkids requiring attention… and did I mention it’s really kinda cold where I am?  Yeah.  It is.  So without further ado…

While I generally prefer to keep things light and fluffy… Jester posted about a serious issue going on within the grand great okay State of Oklahoma.  Apparently they will eagerly elect racist two faced bitches who are rather uneducated to represent them.  I feel bad for the Oklahomians who were obviously duped into thinking she was someone who has a clue in today’s world instead of someone who is an uneducated bigot.

So there’s been alot of talk about anonymity.  B.E. Earl started it for the most part with this intriguing post… I myself picked up on it… and of course Miss Ann put the nail in the coffin on the subject with a really good overview of how MANY bloggers (myself included) started and the things we have done to be “heard”.

Poppy has been experimenting with cats and Teriyaki sauce in preparation for the coming Beijing Summer Olympics.  (Don’t tell the Poppy… but she is dessert… nom nom nom…)

Dave2 has some very real dreams and inspirations.  Personally… I could pass on the whole knighting thing.  I’d be afraid that the person with the sword would have a Highlander flashback and chop my head off while screaming, “There can be only one!!!!” However, one dream IS being realized when Dave2 is the guest host on Pointless Drivel Live with Mr Fab tonight at 7:00pm on the east coast.  All other coasts… figure it out from there or just subscibe to it via iTunes like I do.

Avitable has apparently been shaking people out from his family tree.  Now we know where the inspiration for the stick figures comes from!

Finally…

Georgie from Being Five has had the dubious honor and tragedy of having Bill Gates appear on his blog.  Unfortunately… I’m not Time magazine either…

Smorgashboard Sunday is a weekly compilation of interesting posts, pictures, and videos that I have found within the 250+ feeds of personal or personal related blogs that I currently read.  Due to the volume of blogs and the 10-12 posts I limit myself to comment on, there may be times when posts that you author do not appear.  This is not to say that you did not have a good post, or an important post, or even a post I did not read because in all likelihood I did indeed read it.  This simply means that for that week(s) that you are excluded… well… I thought other posts were better choices for the Snacking.  This does not mean I don’t like you, I don’t love you, or that I don’t read you.  It just means that for that week(s), I chose other posts but there is always the possibility of next week.  Unless.

Unless you cry, whine, send me e-mail messages begging me to feature you, send e-cards with links to the posts you want linked, tell me how I don’t love you, tell me how I don’t like you, tell me how sad you are, tell me how I don’t read you even though you know I did because I commented that week, and/or try to muscle me with threats of large “goombas” paying a visit.  If you do any of that… then hold your breathe until you see yourself on the Smorgashboard again.  While your doing that… go get a white hat and get yourself some Smurfberry Pie ‘cause you’ll be blue before you see it.
