Welcome to another fine edition of Smorgashboard Sunday! This week is special because it falls on the Christian holiday of Easter, when Joshua Herman Christus (more commonly known as Jesus H. Christ) rose from the dead to forgive you of your sins and grant unto you eternal life everlasting in the Kingdom of Heaven at the right hand of the Father with bunnies, eggs, yadda yadda yadda. Of course, the Church is once again under fire across the globe for allegations of sexual abuse.
You would think the Church would be trying to repair their image, right?
Maybe they should reach out to the teen crowd?
Maybe they should find something that appeals to the youth of today! Maybe something along the same lines as those Twilight novels and movies all the middle aged mothers are panting over…
And thus this edition of the Sunday Smorgashboard is dedicated to the fact that these Eternal Links Are Yours… or at least until this this blog gets axed by the hosting service… for absolutely nothing!

Finn has decided that the pettiness of others is ruining the blogosphere for her. I know what she means… because the petty judgmental words and hypocritical actions of others is one of the reasons I’ve stepped back from this end of the sphere as well… but I also completely agree with her that the good outweighs the bad. Now my whole reason for listing this post first isn’t for any other reason than to re-amplify her call to action: I hope that all of you will take a minute to examine your own online lives and join me in cutting out the nastiness and anger and leaving it to those that deserve it.

I too will be getting an iPad, but I won’t be paying more for a digital copy than what I can get an actual copy for… because in that case I will just completely do without. Smorgashboard Sunday is a weekly compilation of interesting posts, pictures, and videos that I have found within the 350+ feeds of personal or personal related blogs that I currently read. Due to the volume of blogs and the 10-12 posts I limit myself to comment on, there may be times when posts that you author do not appear. This is not to say that you did not have a good post, or an important post, or even a post I did not read because in all likelihood I did indeed read it. This simply means that for that week(s) that you are excluded… well… I thought other posts were better choices for the Snacking. This does not mean I don’t like you, I don’t love you, or that I don’t read you. It just means that for that week(s), I chose other posts but there is always the possibility of next week. Unless.
Unless you cry, whine, send me e-mail messages begging me to feature you, send e-cards with links to the posts you want linked, tell me how I don’t love you, tell me how I don’t like you, tell me how sad you are, tell me how I don’t read you even though you know I did because I commented that week, and/or try to muscle me with threats of large “goombas” paying a visit. If you do any of that… then hold your breathe until you see yourself on the Smorgashboard again.
