Sunday Smorgashboard - The Clusterfook Edition

My blogosphere, or more specifically the people in it, never cease to amaze me with their kindness and sympathy in crisis.  I have already presented an exhibit of this, but I think that perhaps it is time for another.

This edition of the Sunday Smorgashboard is aptly titled The Clusterfook Edition.  Whereas normally I look for a variety of things out there, every single blog listed here today has paid tribute in their own way to Lisa from Clusterfook who passed away late Friday night.

Avitable paid tribute with his artwork.  Before you ask… yes… that really is his penis.

Hilly offered hippie peace.  I can think of no better kind.

Karen kept it simpleSimple but honest.

Jade recalled a Canon.  Those Brits are onto something.

Miss Britt recounted to the sounds of music.  Lisa wasn’t called The Rock Bitch for nothin’.

Dave recalls a rocky start that preceded a true personal connection.

Robin reminds us that everything we do can touch someone else.

Yoshi touches on the disbelief… even though you knew it was coming.

Geeky Tai-Tai was to the point.

Cheeky Sweetie reminded us about the disease responsible.

Gingersnaps kept the faith.

Dutchy dedicated a field of soon to be flowers to her.

Diz remembers being a longtime reader and discovering Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture through Lisa.  Truly an inspirational speech if ever there was one on living life.

Crazy, Nerdy, Beautiful evangelizes the truth that cancer, it sucks.

Black Belt Momma knows that heaven has a new special angel.

BlondeBlogger remembers the great fighter Lisa was.

Winter went musical in her tribute.

Toddler Planet sent a message into the ether.  As do we all.

FantastaGirl wishes that life had a pause button.

Mother With Cancer extolled her virtue of speaking the truth about cancer.  Yes, it sucks.

Snerkology kept it light but bright.  There are times when there just aren’t words.

Cylithria can no longer read one of her daily must reads.  The feedreader will certainly be lighter.

Shannon can’t stop thinking about it.

Derfina knows that right now there’s one hell of a welcoming party going on in heaven.

I Read Banned Books remembers Lisa with picture and prose.

Michael T Barrett (Slobokan to some) considers the power of the online relationship and how it relates to Lisa’s passing.

Cissa lit a candle.  Okay… more like a few dozen candles… but who’s counting?

Diane offered a smaller tribute, but size is not what matters most.  It is the intention.

Tasses paid honor with a call to action.  Women everywhere… heed her words.

Turnbaby offers words of solace in this time of grief with a rosey vision.  True beauty in both prose and picture.

Miss Ann Thrope chose prose for this moment… and those beyond it.

LeSombre recognizes that it is, sadly, what it is.

Penelope kept it simple.  Those are her words btw… not because I just ran out of descriptions.

Catherine left a little note as well.

Chatty Tawkin posted about her own little piece of Lisa.

And finally…

Karl thanked her for the laughs and wished her a goodnight.  As the Power of Blog Holder, Karl has been closer to what’s going on than most of us.  I am hard pressed to find an actual job description for Power of Blog Holder, so I tend to think that he winged it as best he could even though it was way out of his comfort zone.  That alone should get him the A for effort.

Due to the fact that I am human and stuff… I may have missed a few.  If so, please feel free to contact me directly or leave a comment with a link to get additional tributes listed so we can fully illustrate the awesomeness of the blogosphere.  Thanks.
