I’m going with a bullet style post for today because there’s a ton of randomness running through my mind.  In honor of the new FEMA Director being a Paramedic from Florida, I’m using Hurricane Bullets…

§ After Avitable announced that he has an appointment he can’t miss so won’t be going to TequilaCon, Crys wanted to know exactly who was going.  There seemed to be more nays than yays, including a mebe from Hilly.  So allow me to be perfectly clear and make sure that you all understand… Poppy and I are going to TequilaCon…

… and we’re gonna have a FUCKING BLAST!!!

So those of you who thought about ditching out on TequilaCon for that She-Ra Blogging Conference with its sessions, and classes, and little healthy snacks that will make you drool from the salmonella contaminated peanut butter in them… fear not.  Your choice to go to TequilaCon and drool from being overly socially lubricated has been justified.

§ With all the talk of Obama’s healthcare reform, Governor David Patterson has decided to re-distribute Medicaid payments.  Ambulances will apparently now be providing their services with no reimbursement from Medicaid patients.  That’s the best way to cut down on the healthcare costs of the uninsured… don’t give them a way to get there.  There’s going to be a longer post about this… but I am seriously seeing red right now over it.

§ Mattel gave the new Barbie doll removable tattoos.  Reportedly mothers are in an uproar.  I seriously wonder how many of those mothers have tramp stamps.  There has to be at least one or two.

§ Michael Jackson‘s press conference yesterday was a complete waste.  Is anyone really going to actually pay to see him?  I hope so… since he’s making something like $140 million dollars from it… tickets or not.

§ Karl will be hosting a virtual memorial for Lisa tomorrow.

In pure LeSombre fashion… I’m saving the last hurricane bullet for myself…
