I bet you are all anxious to find out how the dinner and cake went, aren’t you?  Of course you are… its not like the Internet has anything better to do on a Saturday or anything!  So anyway… we welcomed Miss Britt and Mister Britt into our humble abode, gave them the nickel tour (its four rooms… so really… its a nickel tour), had some discussion about hot topics, performed a Crystal Light sacrifice in a blender, ate awesome spaghetti with meatballs and sausage that Poppy had cooked all day long, and all of this was undocumented.

As Poppy is fond of saying, there are some things just not meant for the blawg.

In this case I was just too damn lazy.

But there is cake… and cake IS for the blawg.

In conclusion… I found the cake moist, fudgy, and overall yummy.  As you can see from The Aftermath… maybe not so much for everyone else. 

The lesson to be garnered here is a simple one… everyone loves icing.

Next up for the baking rack… fudge brownies… with burnt edging.
