For whatever reason I find alot of the things I do pretty boring… but when other people hear about them, they seem to think the stuff is the bee’s knees.  Backstage at the Madonna concert at MSG, done it.  Inside the Yankee‘s locker room, done it.  Got to meet both Courtney Love from Hole and Chester from Linkin’ Park backstage when they accidentally thought their dressing room was the medical area.  I bore witness to one of two shows (one in Los Angeles and the other in New York) Metallica played with a full orchestra when they released S&M.  I’m not even going to get into my long list of Professional Wrestling experiences because the list would go on and on… but it’s really pretty boring.  At least to me.

Last night I got to be somewhere new for me.  I was at The Apollo.  No, it wasn’t amateur night.  It was a boxing tournament so they needed an ambulance.  I did however get to run my hands over the lucky stump that you see everyone touch when you watch Showtime At The Apollo at 3:00am.  I don’t know why… but I thought that was really cool.  Maybe it was because it was someplace new, or someplace I’m not likely to see again anytime soon. 

Still I’m pretty giddy over it… and that hasn’t happened in a very long time.
