Welcome to another edition of Sunday Smorgashboard… where I give out the tastiest morsels found within my 300+ and growing blogosphere…
The first item can actually be a feast unto itself. The Avitable Halloween Party was the absolute talk of my sphere. Reports flew in from Dave, Miss Britt, Mr. Fabulous, and of course Certifiable Princess. Of course the man himself provided us with a teaser, then he broke it down by the numbers, and finally gave us the Next American Idols. With another successful Halloween party behind him, Avitable‘s next great challenge is the next great American novel. I can only hope the movie is as good as the karaoke.
Keeping in the spirit of Halloween, Whall had an opportunity to educate the youth of today using a pumpkin. I fully expect next week to see his end result become an example of pumpkin pie in a cooking class.
ADW told us about a different type of Halloween tradition… Boo-Bagging. Believe it or not… its safe for work.
Oh, The Joys relates a tale of anticipating a good chew found in the Halloween loot haul.
Sarcastica has a recounting of the spookiness at her place of employment. She’s also kicking a new theme… very… spoooookkkkyyyyyyy….
KG really doesn’t celebrate Halloween… but just because she ate the Reese’s doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be some Hello Kitty Retail Therapy to help with the addiction!!!
Finally, to wrap up our Halloween coverage, the evidence that all the freaks come out on Halloween continues to pile up with Miss Britt‘s close encounter with… neighbors!!! OMG!!! RUN!!! There are PEOPLE in those houses next door!!!
Phil provides us a simple glimpse through the window… and into two souls swaying to the music as one. The simplest posts are often the most powerful.
Mutt Royalty did some pretty serious deep thinking. Personally, I now have to read the labels of the moisturizers I should be using.
Finally… there is a coming of age of sorts for bloggers when they finally leave the sheltered existence known as Blooger. So, we would like to welcome none other than Poppy Cede to the world of independent bloggerati!!! Now all your downtime… is on you.
So that’s basically been the week in my blogosphere… very Halloween oriented, I know… but it’s like all that loot from the plastic hollowed out pumpkin basket… just too damn sweet.

Smorgashboard Sunday is a weekly compilation of interesting posts, pictures, and videos that I have found within the 250+ feeds of personal or personal related blogs that I currently read. Due to the volume of blogs and the 10-12 posts I limit myself to comment on, there may be times when posts that you author do not appear. This is not to say that you did not have a good post, or an important post, or even a post I did not read because in all likelihood I did indeed read it. This simply means that for that week(s) that you are excluded… well… I thought other posts were better choices for the Snacking. This does not mean I don’t like you, I don’t love you, or that I don’t read you. It just means that for that week(s), I chose other posts but there is always the possibility of next week. Unless.
Unless you cry, whine, send me e-mail messages begging me to feature you, send e-cards with links to the posts you want linked, tell me how I don’t love you, tell me how I don’t like you, tell me how sad you are, tell me how I don’t read you even though you know I did because I commented that week, and/or try to muscle me with threats of large “goombas” paying a visit. If you do any of that… then hold your breathe until you see yourself on the Smorgashboard again. While your doing that… go get a white hat and get yourself some Smurfberry Pie ‘cause you’ll be blue before you see it.
