Later today, Poppy and I will be entertaining the first people to see our apartment other than moving men and my mom.  It seems fitting in an odd way that one of these people is in fact a blogger, and her spouse.  Yes, Miss Britt is coming to New York and bringing Mister Britt with her.  So in honor of the occasion… Poppy twisted my arm asked sweetly if I would bake a cake since she will be making the dinner.  Of course, with the help of my good friend Betty Crocker, I was more than happy to oblige…
