As if there was ever a doubt about it that Bee Bear would not be the 2008 Bear of Love!!!  With a whopping 20 votes, Bee Bear dominated both Mr. Right Bear and Prince Charming Bear in the voting. 

Honestly, I’m really not that surprised Bee Bear won out… in fact I was so certain of it… that I went to order Bee Bear yesterday morning since Vermont Teddy Bear has FINALLY offered a ”Deliver on Valentine’s Day” shipping option!!!  So when I went to add Bee Bear to the cart to get my order in so I can relax for the next 4 days… guess what I saw???  Here it is (click to make it bigger if you can’t read it):

So if you heard the sound of murderous screaming from a cabin in the woods of the Adirondack Mountains where I was spending the weekend with Buttery, you now know why.  I was having Crazy About You Bear flashbacks of the same frustration and pain of being denied that bear before it was sold out flooded my being in a rampage.  It’s enough to make me nutty myself.

So as of this posting, even though Bee Bear was the best bear, it will be Prince Charming Bear that will be the one to arrive on the doorstep of The Steff.  So someone call Al Gore… and let him know he isn’t the only one who was robbed.  Bee Bear was too… especially since this will in fact be the LAST V-Day Bear for The Steff, since she and The Donkey will be getting married next year… on February 14, 2009.  So once I get the ”Your Bear Has Begun His Journey” e-mail… tracking Prince Charming Bear will begin!

Hey, at least Al Gore COULD run for President again if he wanted to.

Then again… there is always The Steff‘s birthday in September…
